Just hoping that when the blu-ray comes, there won't be any awful DNR issues, and lossless audio will be included.

Funimation finally swings the bat
FLCL will be available on DVD again in North America, and blu-ray for the first time.

I'm thinking FLCL is one of the very few anime I'd really love to see on Blu-Ray; I remember being blown away by some of the color work even on DVD.
ReplyDeletePretty certain that it wasn't done in HD, but it'd be great to see on blu-ray. The manga sequences in particular would finally have some breathing room.
ReplyDeleteFUNimation rocks for picking this up. Now I can finally own it without breaking the bank, and on Blu-ray to boot.
ReplyDeleteThis might actually be the third time I'd buy it, but that would be excessive. Unless I use the excuse to finally hop on the Blu-Ray bandwagon. Hmmm.
